How Integration Begins

After enrollment is complete, FIGmd's patented software will run in the background of your EHR, pulling data into the Physical Therapy Outcomes Registry on a scheduled basis. The software installation will require little to no extra work on the part of your practice — all the technical work will be handled by your Registry account manager.

If your practice is unable to install the extraction software, you have the option to "push" the data to the Registry via encrypted files on a regular basis. This requires more effort for you, as well as for your EHR vendor.

Data Transfer

Data extraction will have minimal impact on your practice's day-to-day activities. Over a two- to three-month period, your Registry account manager will monitor your data flow and organize regular calls with your practice manager to review your data and explain the Registry dashboard functions. This dashboard is the key to querying and understanding your practice's performance. You can view your overall progress, or narrow down by clinical site, clinician, or individual patient.

Security

Protected health information and identifiable provider information is captured and stored in accordance with all federal and state laws and regulations. Patient-specific data is available only to the practice.
